Blurry vision....

I'm officially pooped! Did I mention that in order to see the Knicks/Wizards we had a 3 hour drive to NYC? Ended up getting in well after 2:00 am and then I had to work this morning so... that explains my blurry vision. Well worth it though! I had such a blast!! Be warned this is a picture post....

We went to eat at Ruth's Chris and I was the RC virgin. OMG, it was so YUMMY. Mel and I split a 12 oz, I ate 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes, salad and then the chaplain for the Knicks (that's my connection to getting on the floor) and I split the Chocolate Explosion. OMG. I'm posting pictures and a video of the "explosion". I think our waitress hyped it up a little - I was expecting 8th grade volcanic eruptions... not so much. :)) I have yet to put in my POINTS but I'm not worried.. that's what Flex are for right?

After eating, we took a Subway (FUN and I love being with people that know how to get around the city) back to Madison Square Garden... It was so cool walking in with the media like I was something special. :)) Here are some pictures of the players as I sat on the floor like a giddy school girl. :))

Carly Patterson (Olympic gymnast, gold I think) was spotted actually sitting a few seats away from me and I interrupted her popcorn and diet coke dinner for a picture. She was really sweet. Spotted the dude from the Sopranos in celeb row waaaaaay on the other side. The rest of the pictures were with players (not complaining, celebs are celebs)... Nate Robinson, Malik Rose, Zach Randolph, David Lee. I think I had a realization... I think I'm giving up my dream of being a papparazi.. I saw some older teenage boys hounding the players for pics, I just didn't want to bug them. I don't have the heart to interrupt their "normalcy" especially when they're with their families. Thankfully, the chaplain spoke up on my behalf and I was able to snag a few pictures with the ones I was nervous about approaching. :))

It was such a neat experience, to walk where the players walked, be around famous people, scream like a banchee... Boy it was fun to be a kid for a day... Hope you enjoyed the post! Have a great day!

Oh just read your next post - sorry about the teeth - you poor thing! When I got step throat 3 times in 2 months, the doc had been rotating 2 tylenol and 2 advil every 2 hours - it works like a pain killer and really helped me survive but hey I'm no doctor........just a suggestion!

Hugs to you and feel better soon!
