I'm starting to seem like a walking food advertisement but I have some good finds that I want to share with you. Hope you don't mind! Now Swizzle knows about my ongoing love affair with Hostess but yesterday my taste buds met the acquaintance of Hostess 100 Calorie Banana Streusel Muffins. OMG. They taste like mini banana breads...!!!
Now, I have an a question for you based on a conversation with one of my friends at work. He said "why do you drink so much water?" I said "I dunno, it's good for you and that's what WW says I'm supposed to do". He said "but WHO came up with standard of 8 - 8 oz glasses of water". "I dunno".
So yesterday, I did some poking around on the internet and didn't really find much of an answer. I did find an interesting article about getting water from other sources, likes fruits and even your coffee (gasp). But WHY WHY WHY am I supposed to drink the recommended 8? Don't get me wrong, I'm not changing a darn thing because once I doubled up on my water intake I started to pee A LOT but also began losing weight..three count them, three weeks in a row. If it ain't broke.... I also think, what's it gonna hurt? Even if I don't know the reasons why, it's not bad and I do need some hydration so... I'm still doing my 8 gulps...
This morning I heard a report about bottled vs. tap. It was something like what was found in this article. Summed up, reports are that bottled is badder and tap is gooder. Mainly because one (tap) is regulated by EPA and they have higher standards of testing than the FDA (which regulates bottled water). I'm not real worried. I'm gonna continue to chug, chug, chug. I might be a little concerned if I could see the swimmers in the bottle. What do ya'll think?
ps. Still no takers on the de-decorating of the tree eh?

Look at me, I'm out of bed... at 7:12p.m. My head is all in a fog and the boys' yelling is banging around in the tin that has become my brain. Hey, I noticed YOU'RE IN THE 170'S!!! :)) Awesome. I definitely think the water is the key! It flushes out the toxins and stuff. That's my scientific opinion. Now excuse me while I go DIE. I thought I felt better until I got up! Ugh...
I was just telling the roommate the other day that I wanted to try to make diet banana muffins, because I just love them, I might have to check these out! Thanks girl!

I agree with you that the water helps with the weight loss. My body now demands it...but sometimes I'm too lazy to get up and get some. :-)
k-you are funny! i hear ya about the water. but really, i DO prefer bottled flavor most of the time.
AND i also want to say that i LOVE those 100 calorie packs. not QUITE my hostess powdered donuts but a darn good substitute!
This is the second time I have seen these things posted in someones blog and I WANT THEM! WHY don't they have them here? I totally OD'd on the regular Hostess cupcakes and I want something new. GIMME new 100 calorie Hostess PLEAZZZEEE. Where did you find them?
I have no idea who came up with the water thing but it helps flush your system and detox and helos your skin and digestion and muscles and lymphatic system and its good for you so tell dude to stick that in his pipe and smoke it :)
