So tonight it was either about a long walk or the gym. Because I suffer from tremendous guilt for crating my boxer all day long while I'm at work, I opted for the long walk. She needs it as much as I do, the spaz. I'm hoping that one day I can leave her free in my house while I'm gone. I just don't trust her yet. I know, I know.. how could I NOT trust this face. You don't know this sweetheart as well as I do. :))
Now, I'm not at the point where I'm liking the exercise. I do it because I want my ass to get smaller but tonight I was thinking "this is nice" until.... on our walk in the lane to the left of the bike lane (we were on the opposite side of the road and I don't have sidewalks in certain places in my neighborhood), this car was coming STRAIGHT at us. Good thing I pooped before I left the house because.. well, you know the rest. I yelled HOLY HELL and had to JUMP out of the way like in the movies. Granted it was dark but I had on a WHITE vest, reflective shoes AND there were STREET LIGHTS on us. I have a feeling that I encountered a radio tuning, cell phone gabbing almost made us meet our maker fool. Still glad I walked though.
ps. TOM is ON like Donkey Kong. I feel so sh!tty it isn't even funny. So I guess exercising in spite of all my crampiness is an NSV. Yay.

What an ass! I'm guessing that pedestrians don't have the right of way in MD like they do in CA.
Glad you and Polly are okay!
Good grief, I'm glad you're still with us.
What a sweet pup!
Do you watch Dog Whisperer? I love it, and I don't even have a dog. I'm a little mesmerized by Cesar.
I hate it when people don't pay attention! Glad you are both okay.
I hope TOM is easy on you and the cramps get better ASAP!
Hey no cell phone bashers here......I must admit that I am totally guilty of putting on makeup, sending an email and driving....but hell, what am I gonna do?? I commute 4 hours a day, work 9 more hours and then hit the gym........so sorry Tina if I inadvertently almost killed you and Polly - it was an accident, I swear!
By the way - walking while cramping ='s BIG NSV!! WOOHOO - go Tina....go Tina.....it's your birthday!
Freaking idiot drivers...
Good job on getting out on the walk with Polly,I'm sure she was very thankful.
Duke used to tear my house up like it was going out of style when he was a puppy, but now, he's awesome. Unless a guy comes to the house to pick me up on a date, and then jealously rears it's nasty head and he causes problems...go figure.
you are such a better mom than i am!!! my poor stella NEEDS to be walked, but do i take her?!?!?! no :( and she, too, is in a crate during the day (but we do go home at lunch to let her out and i eat somewhat healthier) because we, too, don't trust her cute little face.
here's hoping that one day the babies can be left alone in the house! :)
be careful on those walks w/o sidewalks! but glad you did go out and get some energy outta your pup!
